This bloke walks in, stares at the rows of suits like he’s just landed on Mars, takes a few photos, and says, “I’ll send these to the missus.” Sound familiar?
Nothing wrong with admitting you’ve got no idea where to start. It’s a big day and you want to get it right—but trying to guess what works or relying on your phone camera isn’t the easiest way to do it.
Then there’s the other one. One guy books (or sometimes doesn’t) and rocks up with five or six of his mates. Some are a few pints in. It’s a laugh, but no one knows what they’re actually looking for. They reckon they’ll walk out an hour later fully sorted.
We love a bit of fun, but that way of doing things doesn’t usually end well. People get distracted, decisions don’t get made, and someone ends up picking something just to get it over with.
Now, if you want it to be easy, stress-free, and spot-on—here’s the best way to go about it.
Step 1: The Bride and Groom Come In Together
Honestly, this is the best start. Do it early—at least a few months before the big day. That way you’re not in a rush, we’ve got time to order anything in if needed, and you’re not left sweating it a week before the wedding.
And look, most of the time, the bride already has a vision of how the day’s going to look. She knows the vibe, the colour scheme, what works and what doesn’t. You two coming in together means we can match the suits to the rest of the wedding style—ties, pocket squares, even shoes if needed.
We’ll show you different styles, fits, and colours—talk you through rentals vs buying, and help you try a few on to see what actually suits you (no pun intended).
Once you’ve picked the main look—jacket, trousers, waistcoat, tie etc—we sort the groom’s outfit there and then. Then we book in the groomsmen for later. Simple.
Step 2: Secure the Suit with a Small Deposit
Once you’ve chosen, we ask for a small deposit. That locks in the style and the price, so you’re not hit with any changes down the line. That’s especially helpful if you’re booking ahead and prices shift later on. You’re sorted.
We’ll store the suit safely for you until it’s time to collect. No messing about with wardrobes at home or last-minute panics.
Step 3: Groomsmen Come In
After the main outfit’s chosen, bring the lads in. They’ll get fitted, and we’ll sort them with the same (or similar) style depending on what you’ve picked.
Because everything’s already been decided, this bit’s easy. They try on, we measure up, they’re done. It’s actually one of the most chilled parts of planning the wedding if you’ve got the first bit done right.
Step 4: Final Fit 4 Weeks Before
About four weeks before the wedding, you all come in for a final fitting. This is just to check everything still fits right—people sometimes lose or gain a bit in the run-up to the big day. If we need to tweak anything, we’ve got time.
We’ll give the suits a final press and have them ready to collect looking spot on.
